Pōwhiri and Tikanga
In this course participants will learn the process of a pōwhiri, as well as the purpose and cultural significance behind each element that is performed during this process. Our facilitator will teach you the kawa of Takapūwāhia Marae, as well as the associated stories, history and whakapapa which inform the pōwhiri process.
